Managing trauma symptoms help temporarily, however, “managing” is not effective in the long term.
Processing symptoms are key to your psychological healing. Processing, however, does not mean having to relive your traumatic experiences. It means that you control the memories, flashbacks, and nightmares, rather than letting them control you!
